The principles we support

The UN Global Compact is based on ten principles covering human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. SIMBIM's commitment means that these themes should be reflected in the way we make decisions, manage risk, communicate with stakeholders, work with suppliers, support employees, protect information and improve our operations.

Human rights

SIMBIM supports respect for internationally recognised human rights and expects professional conduct that protects dignity, fairness and responsible treatment in business relationships.

Labour

SIMBIM supports fair working practices, professional respect, non-discrimination and responsible treatment of people within its organisation and business relationships.

Environment

SIMBIM supports responsible environmental awareness in its operations and services, including efficient digital workflows, reduced process waste and continual improvement where it can influence outcomes.

Anti-corruption

SIMBIM supports transparent, accountable and fair business conduct. Bribery, extortion, improper influence, hidden arrangements and misleading commercial practices are not compatible with SIMBIM's standards.

How this connects to SIMBIM policies

SIMBIM's UN Global Compact commitment is not separate from its internal governance. It connects directly to the company's quality, ethics, customer satisfaction, information management and BIM governance policies.

Governance, transparency and continual improvement

SIMBIM treats responsible business as an operational discipline. That means keeping appropriate records, reviewing risks, responding to concerns, protecting information, learning from feedback and improving documented processes over time. Participation in the UN Global Compact reinforces this approach by giving SIMBIM a public framework for responsible business principles.

Communication on Progress

As part of UN Global Compact participation, SIMBIM is expected to communicate progress through the applicable Communication on Progress process. The official participant profile currently lists the next Communication on Progress due date as 31 July 2027. This date must be reviewed periodically against the official UN Global Compact profile before publication or future updates.

Public statement

SIMBIM supports the UN Global Compact principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. We treat this commitment as part of responsible business practice: acting with integrity, respecting people, reducing avoidable harm, protecting trust and improving how we work.
