How to Reallocate Bluebeam Subscriptions Between Accounts?
If your organisation has a Bluebeam primary account with associated sub-accounts, you can reallocate available subscriptions between them directly from the Org Admin portal.
This option lets you distribute subscriptions from the primary account to a sub-account and, when needed, return them to the primary account afterwards.
How to Reallocate Bluebeam Subscriptions
Before you begin, make sure you can access the Org Admin portal with an account that has organisation admin permissions.
Important: You can only reallocate subscriptions that are available in the primary account. The amount you transfer cannot exceed the number of available subscriptions.
Step 1 - Access the Primary Account
- Log in to Bluebeam's Org Admin portal.
- Select the primary account that holds the available subscriptions you want to reallocate.
Step 2 - Open Subscription Management
- Within the primary account, go to Account.
- Select the Subscriptions tab.
- Click Reallocate Subscriptions.
Step 3 - Select the Sub-Account
- Select the sub-account you want to transfer subscriptions to.
- Select the subscription plan with seats available to transfer.
Note: Reallocation takes place between the primary account and its sub-accounts. This feature requires the organisation to already have sub-accounts set up.
Step 4 - Enter the Number of Subscriptions
- Enter the number of subscriptions you want to transfer to the sub-account.
- Check that the amount entered is equal to or less than the number of available subscriptions.
- Click Redistribute to complete the reallocation.
Important: If there aren't enough available subscriptions in the primary account, you won't be able to reallocate a larger amount than the number shown as available.
How to Check Subscriptions Assigned to a Sub-Account
- Go to Account > Subscriptions.
- In the Subscription Management section, select the sub-account you want to check.
- Select Split Sub Distributions.
From this section you can see how subscriptions have been distributed among the organisation's sub-accounts.
How to Return Subscriptions to the Primary Account
If you need to withdraw subscriptions from a sub-account and return them to the primary account, you can do so from the same admin section.
- Go to Account > Subscriptions.
- Under Subscription Management, select the relevant sub-account.
- Select Return Subscriptions.
- Enter the number of subscriptions you want to return to the primary account.
- Click Return Subscriptions again to confirm the operation.
